Who am I? Ever since I arrived at Covenant College people have confused me with another Bruce Young who attended Covenant College. The other Bruce Young was a missionary to Japan and the son of former Covenant College professor, John Young. I am not that Bruce Young. I am the hippie who graduated from Covenant College in the early 70's. You may remember seeing me playing my guitar in the lobby of the Great Hall or in the stairwell (it had great acoustics!). I married Cynthia Robinson, the second female African-American student to graduate from Covenant College. Our daughter, Laini, is the first child of an African-American Covenant graduate to also graduate from Covenant College. We have eight children ranging in age from seven to thirty-one years old. We have four wonderful grandchildren.
